A completely different underwater world after sunset.
As daylight disappears, marine life behavior changes, visibility becomes more focused, and familiar dive sites feel completely different underwater. Night diving introduces a calmer, more atmospheric side of diving that many divers never experience.
This course focuses on safe navigation, communication, awareness, and confidence while diving in low-light conditions.

Preparation and awareness become even more important at night.
The course combines theory, dive planning, and guided night dives. You’ll learn how to organize equipment, use dive lights effectively, maintain communication with your buddy, and safely navigate in limited visibility conditions.
How the course works
-
01
Theory and night diving preparation
~1–2 hoursLearn about dive planning, low-visibility awareness, dive light use, backup lighting systems, communication methods, and safe entry and exit procedures after dark.
-
02
Night diving skill practice
Controlled preparationPractice underwater communication using lights, navigation techniques, buddy positioning, and maintaining awareness in limited visibility conditions.
-
03
Open water night dives
Guided night divesComplete guided night dives while applying navigation, communication, and light-handling skills as you observe how marine life behavior changes after sunset.

This course is perfect if…
- You want to experience a completely different side of diving after dark
- You want to improve underwater awareness and communication skills
- You are interested in nocturnal marine life and low-light environments
- You want to build confidence in more challenging visibility conditions
