Kids Diving Programs

Kids Programs

Introducing the next generation to scuba diving.

Two programs designed for children aged 8 and above — Bubble Maker and Seal Team. Both focus on safety, small groups, and creating positive first experiences with the underwater world.

Our kids programs are right for your child if…

  • They are 8 years or older and comfortable in the water
  • They are curious about the ocean and want to try something new
  • They are nervous about diving but want to give it a try in a safe environment
  • They loved their first experience and want to continue learning
  • You want a memorable family activity that introduces diving together
Safety First

Every session is supervised, small, and at your child's pace.

All kids programs are conducted in shallow, controlled water with close one-on-one supervision. Group sizes are kept small to ensure every child gets the attention they need. Sessions move at the child’s pace — comfort always comes before progress.

Parental consent is required for all programs.

Program One

Bubble Maker — A first breath underwater.

The Bubble Maker is the very first introduction to scuba diving for children. In shallow water, kids experience what it feels like to breathe underwater — guided step by step, at their own pace, with an instructor right beside them.

This is about creating a positive, memorable first experience. Not a test. Not a challenge. Just a first taste of the underwater world.

What they need

No diving experience required. Your child just needs to be comfortable in the water and enjoy trying new things.
Minimum age 8 years
Experience None required
Max depth 2 meters
Location Pool or calm water
Time Half day

How Bubble Maker works

  1. 01

    Introduction and preparation

    ~15 min

A short, simple explanation of the equipment and how breathing underwater works. No jargon, no pressure — just a friendly intro at the child’s level.

  2. 02

    Getting comfortable with equipment

    ~20 min

Children are introduced to the gear in a calm and supportive way. Everything is done slowly, allowing them to feel safe and relaxed before entering the water.

Program Two

Seal Team — Learning to dive, one AquaMission at a time.

The Seal Team is designed for children who want to continue beyond their first experience. Through a series of fun, themed AquaMissions in the pool, kids learn real diving skills — buoyancy, movement, problem-solving, and more.

It’s structured learning wrapped in adventure. Each mission is practical, supervised, and adapted to the child’s pace.

What they need

No previous diving experience required, though Bubble Maker is a great starting point. Comfortable in water and ready for structured fun.

What both programs give your child

Real confidence

Confidence in and around water that carries beyond diving — into swimming, snorkeling, and water sports for life.

Safety awareness

From their very first session, children learn that diving is about calm, control, and looking after yourself and others.

A shared family experience

Many families discover diving together through these programs. A shared adventure that creates lasting memories.

The start of a journey

Bubble Maker leads to Seal Team. Seal Team leads to Junior Open Water. The underwater world grows with them.

Both Bubble Maker and Seal Team are for children aged 8 years and older. Children between 10 and 14 can also take the full Junior Open Water Diver course, which leads to a recognized certification.

Parental consent is required for both programs. Parents are welcome to watch — and many choose to dive alongside their children. If you’d like to dive as a family, get in touch and we’ll arrange it together.

Bubble Maker is a single session — your child’s first breath underwater in very shallow water. Seal Team is a structured series of sessions (AquaMissions) where children learn real diving skills progressively. Many children start with Bubble Maker and move on to Seal Team.

They need to be comfortable in the water, but don’t need to be a strong swimmer. Both programs take place in shallow, calm water with close supervision. If you’re unsure, have a chat with us before booking.

The natural next step is the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course, available for ages 10 and above. It’s a full certification that opens up real ocean diving with a parent or certified adult.
