Before you join the trip
Silfra is a cold-water dive site operated year-round using dry suits. Water temperatures typically remain between 2°C and 4°C (35°F–39°F), and Icelandic weather conditions can change rapidly.
Participants should bring:
- Warm thermal base layers
- Thick warm socks
- Comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for Icelandic weather
- A towel and a dry change of clothes
Tour schedules may occasionally require adjustments depending on weather and safety conditions.
